Downtown Pittsburg’s 5th Street Bar and Grill is home to an incredible selection of local and national beer brands. With 39 to choose from (plus a mystery beer located in the upstairs beer loft), it could take a while to sample every one. Lucky for you, we’ve pulled together a list of 5th Street’s current selection, including notes about each brewery and the beers themselves.

23rd Street Brewery

23rd St Brewery was established in 2006 as a small, locally owned brewpub in Lawrence, KS. A 15 BBL brewery that averages just under 1000 BBLs a year, they distribute draught beer throughout Kansas.

Raspberry Wheat

Nationwide brewer Anheuser Busch offers over 100 brands in the U.S. and holds a 45.8 percent share of the beer market. The company was originally founded in St. Louis.

Boulevard

Boulevard is the largest specialty brewer in the Midwest, with full or partial distribution currently in 31 states and Washington DC. Founded in 1989 and located in Kansas City, the brewery has remained dedicated to the craft of producing fresh, flavorful beers using traditional ingredients.

American Kolsch

  • Style: Kolsch-Style Ale
  • Light to medium mouthfeel, honey-like malt sweetness that gives way to a crisp, clean finish with a touch of lingering herbal/citrusy hop flavor.

Tank 7

Firestone Walker Brewing

Located in Paso Robles, California, Firestone Walker is California’s 4th largest brewery and known for hoppy ales. They are a 4-time winner of the the World Beer Cup Champion Brewery for mid-sized breweries.

Luponic Distortion

Based in Wichita and founded in 2011, Wichita Brewing brews 7 beers in their 18,000 sq ft facility. At their Wichita location, the pub specializes in serving craft beers with their wood-fired pizzas.

WBC V6 IPA

  • Style: American IPA
  • Brewed with generous amounts of Cascade and Amarillo hops with assertive flavor and aroma hop character. Approachable bitterness and well-balanced malt backbone.

WBC Valley View Vanilla Porter

  • Style: American Porter
  • Robust porter with whole Madagascar vanilla beans added during fermentation. Dark color, smooth roasty aroma and flavor with hints of chocolate to complement the vanilla beans.

Bavarian Dunkel

Warbeard Irish Red

  • Style: Irish Red Ale
  • Caramel and toffee-like sweetness slowly fades into a slight dryness in the finish. Smooth and malt-focused.

Coffee Porter

  • Style: American Porter
  • Lighter Robust Porter with a roasty, coffee aroma. Chocolaty, smooth taste with a tan head. Medium sweet finish.

Falconer

  • Style: American IPA
  • Clean and clear with a solid white head. This beer presents a bready, hoppy and lemon – citrus note while also maintaining a noticeable hop characteristic.

Anchor Brewing Co

A San Francisco brewery that claims the title of America’s first and oldest craft brewery. Today, all of their beers are brewed from an all-malt mash in their traditional copper brewhouse.
