When post-Prohibition miners looked to let off a little steam, they turned to the Collier brothers. As lifelong miners, the brothers opened a tavern to cater to their buddies after a hard day in the pits. It was gritty. It was loud. It was full of good music and laughter and great food. They were third generation miners, but as it turns out mining wasn’t all they knew — food and fun was in their blood.

Two Brothers Mining Company is a great place to take a break and enjoy amazing food & drinks with friends, family, or complete strangers. Our full menu includes staples of the Collier brothers’ era, as well as many of today’s favorites.

Pallucca and Sons Market was started in 1909 by Attillo Pallucca. Attillo, a native of Italy, started the store with Enrico Moriconi. Attillo eventually took over the entire store and in 1954 he sold the store to his son, Joe Pallucca. In 1959, Joe’s son, Dick, took over the store. Dick passed away in 2013 and the store sold to the current owners, Ethan and Alyssa Edwards, in 2014. After all these years, despite ownership changes, it’s still Palluca’s great recipes.

Pallucca’s is known for its homemade Italian sausage, fresh cut meats, family friendly environment, and exceptional customer service.

The marina has been a mainstay for Crawford State park for many years. Convenience items, bait, and ice are available. The restaurant offers excellent and affordable meals, which you can eat outside on the patio, or on a courtesy dock a short walk away. The swimming beach area, restrooms and playground are also a short walk away.

Several bird feeders are at the marina with seating for those who enjoy watching the birds eat and flit about. The Tit-mouse, Oriole, Cardinal and Humming Bird are some of the frequent flyers to the bird feeders.

Canadian geese wander about the area waiting for food, sold at the marina, and they too, enjoy a swim in the lake.
