What began as a vision in 1991 following the purchase of an old farm, has become a resort attracting both the avid sportsman and tourist from all over the United States. The first sporting clay course was designed in 1992, and Claythorne has steadily grown into a resort that can easily accommodate over one thousand shooters.

Claythorne offers many options for shooting sports including, Sporting Clays, Skeet, Trap, and NSCA 5-Stand. They have great fishing as well as guided and unguided hunts. Their Pro Shop has all required outdoor gear and accessories for target shooting or hunting. They also offer dining and lodging

The main Lodge has three guest-rooms elegantly furnished with antiques. A separate bunk house features three modern and comfortable guest rooms next to the main Lodge. Claythorne is a popular dining spot in the SEK Kansas area; renowned for its gourmet entrees, barbecue, rib eyes, filets, ribs and brisket!
The Bone Creek Sport and Gun Club Range is open from sunrise to sunset, 365 days a year, with the exception of being closed during firearms deer season. A private membership range. See application page on their website for details.
Orientations are held the first Sunday of each month, after the USPSA matches, at 2:30pm, or after the CCH shoots, held the third Tuesday, around 7pm. If a new member, please try to attend, or make sure you check to see that you are receiving the emails. Orientations are occasionally held at other times, and notification of this will be emailed out.
