Charity Golf Tournament for Girard Area Community Foundation

On Thursday June 10, 2021, the Girard Area Community Foundation is hosting its annual 9-hold, 2-person scramble tournament at Crawford Hills Golf Course, Girard KS.

This tournament is to raise funds for Girard Area Community Foundation.

Entry is $60 per team and includes a carryout meal (cart not included). Tee times are 1pm and 5pm. Play one time or play both. 80% payout of registrations. Hole prizes on #2 for longest drive, #7 closest to the pin and longest putt on #9.

The Girard Bike Show and Rally includes live music, Bike Sled Pulls, a Bike Show, Bike Games, and Bike Drag Racing. Hosted by ABATE of Kansas District 3, a motorcycle rights activist group raising public awareness and lobbying for motorcycle rights, the Girard Bike show is a fundraiser to help pay for lobbying costs.

Gate entry each day is $20 for members and $25 for non-members. Kids under 12 enter free. Primitive camping is free. RV camping and electric hookups are $40 per night.

Girard Warriors Youth Track Meet

This is a youth track meet and not the Olympics. This meet is operated to give children from Pre-K to 6th grade the chance to compete in a healthy atmosphere. The meet serves as a fundraiser for the Warriors Track Club.

Entry is $10 per athlete and the deadline is April 21 at 10 p.m. No late entries will be accepted.

First Responders Appreciation Day by ABATE of Kansas District 3

Local first responders will have vehicles to display. Weather permitting, the fire department will have a water hose spray with a kids bouncy room, plus a Poker Run for motorcycles.

This event is hosted by ABATE of Kansas District 3, a motorcycle rights activist group raising public awareness and lobbying for motorcycle rights.

Lasagna Dinner Fundraiser for Girard Lions Club

Deliver or carry out. Five meal minimum for Girard delivery.

$8 per meal, includes lasagna dinner, salad, bread, and desert.
